Hetzner acts as a data processor within the meaning of Art. 28 GDPR. The data processing agreement (DPA) is concluded via the Hetzner customer account and is based on Hetzner's standard contract template in accordance with Art. 28 (3) GDPR. The servers are located exclusively within the EU. The hosting provider automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser transmits automatically. This includes: • Browser type and version • Operating system used • Referrer URL • Hostname of the accessing device • Time of the server request • IP address (anonymised) Hetzner stores IP addresses in anonymised form only – the last part of the address is replaced by a random value, making it impossible to establish any personal reference. This data is not combined with other data sources. The collection of this data is based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the technically error-free presentation and optimisation of the website – for this purpose, the server log files must be collected. Log files are deleted after a maximum of 7 days.
